Tour de Donut, Staunton Rib Cook-off Set for July 14th
STAUNTON - Air up your tires and come with an empty stomach on July 14 th for the 19th annual Tour de Donut bike race and 2nd annual Staunton Rib Cook-off/block party here in downtown Staunton.The events feature fun for the whole family, with the race itself beginning at 9 a.m., and food and drinks will be served at the open booths at 10 a.m. The ribs won't be ready until 5 p.m., but there's plenty to entertain you until then. So make sure to check out the bike race and enjoy the refreshments. If you're participating in the bike race, make sure to register online at www.bebikeclub.com. The race is online registration only. Don't forget to reward yourself with some ribs after the race. Make sure to check out the party the night before on Friday, July 13 th at the Firemens Park.
