Staunton Post Office
Holds Food Drive

| The Staunton Post Office collected 1600
pounds of food on Saturday as folks throughout the city opened their
cupboards to help His Service Station Food Pantry keep its shelves
stocked. The Post Office collected 1600 pounds of food, which was about
400 pounds less than last year. The decrease may be attributed to the
increased price of gasoline and other goods as prices have gone up. Still,
the crew at the post office was happy to collect even that much and thanks
everyone who contributed to the annual food drive. |
