New look, coverage are on the way for Kwik Konnection!

Every few months, sometimes sooner, I change the look of the newspaper.

Why? Well, the appearance of the paper keeps it fresh and hopefully appealing.

I also introduce new items that I hope the readers enjoy.

This week, we have started a new cartoon series. I'd appreciate feedback from our readers.

In the past few weeks, we have introduced more coverage from Madison County and enhanced our Macoupin County coverage as well.

We are running more four color issues and giving even more attention to our photographs.

Indeed some of you have noticed that our photos are better than ever.

Our newspaper is packed each week with photos because people like to see their friends and neighbors in the paper.

We have also been making changes to our masthead or name plate.

You'll see even more and dramatic changes to the frot page.

Design is very important, but the bottom line is the content of the news.

For years, our slogan has been. "Your regional newspaper with great local news."

While our office is in Staunton, we don't just cover Staunton. Indeed, Staunton is a great town, but we want to make sure that those nearby communities who don't have a newspaper have a place to print their community news.

I hope you enjoy the changes, and we are always open to suggestions.
