JV Scholastic Bowl Team Wins 1st Place STAUNTON - The Scholastic Bowl teams at Staunton High School competed in the South Central Scholastic Conference Tournament at Breese, with six other high schools; namely, Hillsboro, Mater Dei, Gillespie, Litchfield, Bunker Hill, and Metro East Lutheran. Staunton's teams worked together to answer difficutl questions dealing with literature, math, science, art, and history. Eighth Grade Terriers Finish Second in Staunton Tourney CARLINVILLE GAME - Staunton opened up the 49th annual Staunton eighth grade tourney against Carlinville.
