Throughout Years Cemetery Has Had Several Names ALHAMBRA - Recently a new sign was erected at the entrance to the Harris Cemetery. Snack With Santa is Good for Kids By Bill Napper STAUNTON - The weather over the weekend was "kinda yucky", but that didn't stop an estimated 400 kids from attending the annual Snack With Santa event, here Saturday. Sponsored by the Staunton Chamber of Commerce the Snack With Santa involved several downtown businesses. A giant slide was set up at the Zion Lutheran Gym where kids had a blast sliding from the "top of the gym" to the floor. Bulldogs win 1, Lose 1 at home STAUNTON - The Bulldog basketball team returned to action last weekend by hosting games against Hillsboro and Gillispie. Community Christmas Concert Thrills Audience STAUNTON - The Community Christmas Concert was held on December 9 at 3 p.m. at St. Paul United Church of Christ. Pre-concert music was performed on the harp and was followed by a processional carol which was performed by the choirs along with the congregation.
