Quest Class Held Hawaiian Day

Ms. Stevenson and Ms. Gobel dress up for Hawaiian Day.
Staunton Junior High students dress up for the day and in the process raise much needed funds for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease.

On Friday, April 20th, the 7th Grade Quest Class held a Hawaiian Day to raise money for Memory Walk. Memory Walk is an organization for people with Alzheimer's disease.

For those who don't know, every ninety seconds someone is diagnosed with Alzheimer's in America.

So, on April 20th the 5th through 8th graders wore anything from hula skirts to leis, even flowers in their hair. The class was able to raise an outstanding $793.

They are thankful for all the donations and participations. It was a fun day, and they saw some funny, nice, and bizarre outfits.

Even teachers dressed up for this fun and worthy occasion.

Staunton Junior High Quest class students held a bake sale to raise money for a pizza party for their pen pals.

The students have a good time as they do their part to help in the fight against Alzheimer's disease.
Students pay for their goodies at the bake sale.
