Quest Class Held Hawaiian Day
On Friday, April 20 th, the 7th Grade Quest Class held a Hawaiian Day to raise money for Memory Walk. Memory Walk is an organization for people with Alzheimer's disease.For those who don't know, every ninety seconds someone is diagnosed with Alzheimer's in America. So, on April 20 th the 5th through 8th graders wore anything from hula skirts to leis, even flowers in their hair. The class was able to raise an outstanding $793.They are thankful for all the donations and participations. It was a fun day, and they saw some funny, nice, and bizarre outfits. Even teachers dressed up for this fun and worthy occasion.
