The Staunton Education Foundation held a monthly meeting on Monday, May 7 in the Staunton School Library.

The Foundation reported that it received generous donations from the First Community State Bank and the First National Bank of Staunton.

The donations have assisted the Foundation in applying for a 501 (C) 3 document that will allow any contributions to be fully tax deductible to the extent allowable by law.

Currently, the Foundation is collecting names and addresses of all graduates from Staunton High School and Livingston High School. Anyone who can assist in providing this information may contact Angie Legendre at brad@madisontelco.com or Delores Brooke at wbrooke@madisontelco.com.

The next monthly meeting is scheduled for Monday, June 4, at 6 p.m. in the Staunton School Library. Everyone is encouraged to attend.
