Bradford National Bank, in conjunction with Our Common Ground, is hosting the 3rd Annual award winning Art in Education Art Show, featuring the work of Greenville Elementary School art students.

The Art in Education program, sponsored by Bradford National Bank, represents an effort to revitalize the elementary art show so that area students can once again take part in a cultural event to display their artwork. Our Common Ground president Martha Radcliff, said, "The study of art has been proven to help children grasp math concepts, science, language arts, and geography. Therefore, a solid art program should be readily available as art informs any scholastic endeavor." She added, "The artwork on display is wonderful and is represented in a gallery setting."

Bradford National Bank president Frank Joy added, "The Art in Education program has proven to be a successful event that encourages the artistic development of Greenville’s art students. This year we are pleased to introduce musical entertainment for the show. We are pleased to host this event in Greenville."

This year’s program will also feature an elementary school talent show on Thursday, showcasing the musical talent of over 30 Greenville students. On Friday, Mikayla Roach and D.B. Railroad will perform a variety of bluegrass and country songs. The program is free and open to the public. The event is being catered by Cheri Schilling, of Cheri’s Garden Room.
