Staunton Board of Education Reorganizes

STAUNTON - The Staunton Board of Education held a special meeting to welcome new members and to bid farewell to two of its long time members.

The meeting was held on Monday, May 7, and saw the election of Stefanie Legendre and Chris Tingle to the board.

Members Tom Allen and Rebecca Bohlen were re-elected to the board at the meeting.

Tom Allen was elected to the position of President, and Rebecca Bohlen was elected as Vice-President of the board. Rita Zeller was elected as Secretary.

Tim Williamson, who was unable to attend the meeting and Hulda Black have both now retired from the board after 11-1/2 years of service each.

Both received a plaque recognizing their years of service to the Board of Education and Community.

The Administration, Board of Education, staff and students thank Mrs. Black and Mr. Williamson for their guidance and direction to Staunton CUSD #6.
