STAUNTON - The annual Girl Scout banquet and bridging ceremony was held Thursday, May 10, here at the Crystal Ballroom.

This was a celebration of the past year’s achievements for the town’s Girl Scout Troops.

Three troops participated in a bridging ceremony to advance in the ranks of the Girl Scout organization.

The Daisy troop bridged to become Brownies, the 3rd year Brownies bridged to become Jr. Girl Scouts and the 3rd year Junior Girl Scouts bridged to become Cadets.

A catered dinner was provided by Fema's.

The Staunton Girl Scouts would like to take this opportunity to thank their families and the community for providing support throughout the year.

A special thanks to the Knights of Columbus, Bill’s IGA, Fema’s Catering, Tina Cuppett, The Kwik Konnection newspaper and the Star Times.
